AI Agents Entering Commercial Transactions Face Authorization and Security Risks

AI agents are increasingly entering commercial transactions, but there is a lack of unified standards to verify their authorization, leading to insufficient security. The AI agent market is expected to exceed $53 billion by 2030. Stripe stated in June this year that 70% of the API data access commands come from AI agents. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express have all launched commercial agreements for AI agents in the past year, and Shopify has opened AI agent sales channels to approximately 1 million merchants. As AI agents become more widespread, simple and secure transactions will become increasingly difficult to identify.
