A whale address recently staked 2.785 million HYPE through 20 wallets, currently valued at approximately $164 million. This address had previously accumulated 2.94 million HYPE, worth about $172 million, between September and October last year. On-chain analysts speculate that this address may belong to a16z, although official confirmation is still pending. This large-scale staking indicates that the whale is transferring a significant amount of HYPE into the staking system, which may reflect its confidence in the long-term development of the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
