Anthropic Upgrades Claude Code/Cowork to Control User Macs in the Background

Anthropic has announced an upgrade to the computer control features of Claude Cowork and Claude Code, allowing for background control of users' Macs. In macOS 15 and above, Claude can perform clicks, input, and navigation through screen interactions while users are engaged in other tasks. Users can adjust to 'full control' mode in the settings. This feature is available for both Cowork (knowledge work such as document processing and file organization) and Code (development tasks) products, currently limited to Pro and Max individual subscribers, with Team and Enterprise plans yet to be opened up.
