Aptos Releases Mainnet Node v1.49.1 for Validators

Aptos Labs has released mainnet node software v1.49.1 for validators and fullnode operators. This release includes a broader set of changes across execution, consensus, storage, and state sync, along with fixes from the earlier v1.49 hotfix path. The update is intended for infrastructure operators, not ordinary APT holders, and does not require users to migrate tokens or take any wallet action. The v1.49.1 release enhances operational stability for validators by providing a complete public build, moving away from reliance on emergency hotfixes. It addresses state sync, validator recovery, execution consistency, and database handling. This release allows infrastructure providers to plan future maintenance windows and reduces version fragmentation across the network. Aptos continues to focus on improving stability under load while consolidating fixes into a standard mainnet release.
