Arbitrum has begun supporting USDC collateral deposits on the Ondo Perps platform. Users will be able to directly fund their positions through Arbitrum. Ondo Perps confirmed its preference for the Arbitrum network for USDC investments. This development allows users to utilize their USDC balances directly on Arbitrum. The ease of access to collateral is seen as significant for liquidity in derivative markets. The direct use of USDC could simplify the transition between Arbitrum's stablecoin ecosystem and tokenized assets. According to Arbitrum's data, Ondo Perps has reached a trading volume of approximately $5 billion, with an open position size of $60 million. Ondo Perps offers perpetual futures products linked to stocks, ETFs, and commodities. Ondo Finance plans to support tokenized securities as collateral in the future. This step contributes to Arbitrum's growth in the field of tokenized financial products. As Arbitrum strengthens its integration with stablecoin-based financial markets, it creates a new reason for users to bring USDC onto the network.
