    Important business and meetings still happen face to face in crypto, despite being a digital industry. For companies operating in Web3, choosing the right conference means access to investors, partnerships, customers and conversations that are difficult to replicate online.

    But not every event serves the same crowd. Some conferences are built around institutional dealmaking, others around developers and protocols, while a handful have become enormous industry-wide gatherings.

    Whether you are planning the rest of your 2026 conference calendar or looking ahead to 2027, here are some of the blockchain and crypto events worth knowing:

    **1.**KBW2026 {#1-kbw2026}

    Location: Seoul, South Korea
    Dates: September 29-October 1, 2026
    Best for: International Web3 companies, Korean market, Asian investors and expanding in APAC

    Korea Blockchain Week, known as KBW, has turned Seoul into a major stop on the global crypto conference circuit.

    Organized by FACTBLOCK, KBW connects the international digital asset industry with South Korea and Asia's highly active crypto market. The 2026 edition takes place from September 29 through October 1 at Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts in Seoul, with Upbit joining as main sponsor.

    The event is particularly valuable for international companies interested in understanding both the Asian and Korean crypto ecosystems. Rather than functioning purely as an international conference that happens to be hosted in Asia, KBW provides access to local exchanges, investors, companies and communities alongside global participants.

    The conference itself is also only part of the attraction. Side events, dinners, networking sessions and private gatherings spread throughout Seoul during the week, turning KBW into a wider industry gathering.

    **Why it stands out:**KBW offers something many global conferences cannot easily reproduce: direct access to one of the world's most active and distinctive crypto markets.

    **2.**TOKEN2049 {#2-token2049}

    Locations: Dubai and Singapore
    Dates: October 7-8, 2026
    Best for: Global networking, investors, exchanges and major crypto companies

    TOKEN2049 has established itself as one of the biggest gatherings on the global crypto calendar, with major editions in both Dubai and Singapore. The conference brings together founders, investors, builders, institutions, exchanges and other decision-makers from across the crypto industry.

    Its Singapore edition has become particularly significant. The 2026 event is expected to attract more than 25,000 attendees representing over 7,000 companies, alongside 300+ speakers and 500+ exhibitors. More than 60% of attendees are expected to be C-level executives.

    The scale of TOKEN2049 extends beyond the main conference. TOKEN2049 Week transforms its host city into a wider industry gathering, with hundreds of meetings, parties and side events taking place around the official program.

    Why it stands out: Few crypto conferences combine TOKEN2049's scale with such a concentrated senior industry audience.

    **3.**Consensus {#3-consensus}

    Location: United States
    Dates: To be announced for 2027
    Best for: Institutions, regulation, investment and the broader digital asset industry

    Consensus is one of the longest-established names on the crypto conference circuit. Organized by CoinDesk, it has historically occupied a broad position within the industry, bringing together crypto-native businesses alongside financial institutions, policymakers, investors and technology companies. That breadth remains part of its appeal.

    Recent editions have included dedicated programming around capital markets, Bitcoin, policy and regulation, DeFi, trading, AI and blockchain development.

    For businesses interested in where crypto meets traditional finance and regulation, particularly in the United States, Consensus remains an important conference to watch.

    Why it stands out: Its combination of crypto, capital markets, policy and institutional finance makes Consensus broader than many protocol-specific or community-specific events.

    **4.**EthCC {#4-ethcc}

    Location: Cannes, France
    Dates: April 12-15 2027
    Best for: Ethereum, developers, protocols and technical Web3 teams

    EthCC, the Ethereum Community Conference, has retained a strong technical and community identity. Organized by Ethereum France, the conference is heavily focused on Ethereum and the ecosystem being built around it. That makes it particularly relevant to developers, protocol teams, infrastructure providers and founders building products around Ethereum.

    The event has also grown considerably. EthCC reported 6,500 attendees and more than 400 speakers for its 2025 edition, alongside more than 250 side events. After years in Paris and a 2024 edition in Brussels, EthCC moved to Cannes in 2025 which has acted as the home base since.

    For teams that care more about builders and protocols than corporate exhibition halls, EthCC remains one of Europe's most important Web3 gatherings.

    Why it stands out: A developer-focused and Ethereum-focused audience gives EthCC a distinctly different character from the industry's largest commercial conferences.

    **5.**Bitcoin 2027 {#5-bitcoin-2027}

    Location: Nashville, Tennessee
    Dates: July 15-17, 2027
    Best for: Bitcoin companies, investors, miners and Bitcoin-focused financial services

    For companies operating specifically within the Bitcoin ecosystem, the Bitcoin Conference deserves its own category. Unlike broader Web3 conferences covering everything from Ethereum infrastructure to tokenization and DeFi, the event revolves around Bitcoin and the businesses within it.

    That increasingly includes an institutional component. Recent editions have combined general conference programming with dedicated networking and programming for professional investors and corporate participants.

    For Bitcoin-native startups, miners, financial services providers and companies developing institutional Bitcoin products, that concentration can be more useful than attending a broader blockchain event.

    Why it stands out: It provides one of the largest concentrated audiences for companies operating specifically in the Bitcoin economy.

    6. Signal Week**(Formerly Paris Blockchain Week)** {#6-signal-week-formerly-paris-blockchain-week}

    Location: Paris, France
    Dates: July 6-7, 2027
    Best for: Institutional digital assets, traditional finance and tokenization

    One of Europe's best-known blockchain conferences is entering a new chapter. Paris Blockchain Week, which launched in 2019 and grew into a major European crypto gathering, is now known as Signal Week.

    Signal Week is placing greater emphasis on the intersection between traditional finance and digital assets, including areas such as tokenization, stablecoins and decentralized finance. The organizers say the event has previously attracted more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries, with 70% of participants holding C-suite positions.

    The next Paris edition is scheduled for July 6--7, 2027.

    The change provides an interesting snapshot of how the crypto conference industry itself is changing. Events that began during the earlier blockchain boom are increasingly evolving toward institutional finance, payments and tokenized assets as the industry matures.

    Why it stands out: The transition from Paris Blockchain Week to Signal Week makes it an increasingly important bridge between crypto-native companies and traditional financial institutions.

    Which Blockchain Conference Should You Attend in 2027? {#which-blockchain-conference-should-you-attend-in-2027}

    There isn't one conference that makes sense for every company.

    For sheer global crypto networking, TOKEN2049 is difficult to ignore, with its next confirmed edition taking place in Dubai in April 2027.

    Companies targeting South Korea and the wider Asian ecosystem should have KBW2026 high on their list.

    For Ethereum developers and protocol teams, EthCC offers a more technical environment, while Bitcoin-focused businesses may get more value from Bitcoin 2027 in Nashville.

    Meanwhile, Consensus remains particularly relevant for companies interested in the intersection of crypto, institutions and US policy.

    And Signal Week will be one to watch as the former Paris Blockchain Week enters its next chapter under Hyve Group.

    Projects and potential attendees should take notice of how crypto conferences are becoming increasingly specialized.

    As digital assets move closer to mainstream financial markets, the most valuable event is no longer whichever conference attracts the biggest crowd. It is the one that puts the right founders, investors, institutions, developers or customers in the same place.
