Bitcoin Whales Moved 2,184 BTC in September 2026

In September 2026, at least eight Bitcoin addresses that had not been used for 12 to over 15 years became active, moving a total of 2,184.3 BTC. The total realized profit amounted to approximately $178 million. The largest transfer occurred on September 6, when 1,260.78 BTC was moved from an address that had not been used for over 10 years, valued at around $100.63 million at the time of the transaction, with a realized profit of about $99.64 million. On September 4, another address that had not been used for over 15 years transferred 6.78 BTC worth approximately $551,000, with a profit of $523,000. On the same day, another address moved 40 BTC valued at around $3.09 million, with a profit of $3.1 million. On September 19, the owner of an address inactive for nearly 15 years transferred 100 BTC worth about $8.09 million, realizing a profit of $8.09 million. On September 22, an address that had held coins for over 14 years moved 600 BTC valued at around $51.9 million, with a profit of $48.71 million. On September 29, two transactions were recorded that moved 20.43 BTC worth approximately $1.71 million, with a profit of $1.724 million.
