BNB Chain x402 Payments Exceed 1.4 Million Transactions

AEON has reported that the x402 payments processed on the BNB Chain have surpassed 1.4 million, with a cumulative payment amount of $14.73 million (approximately 2.04 billion KRW). Masbit announced that this processing volume was recorded on the 26th at 3:04 PM (Korean time), following AEON's introduction of the x402 AI payment structure on the BNB Chain. The x402 is a payment standard designed for AI agents to perform payment and verification simultaneously during the online request process. AEON has stated that it has opened up related transaction data for real-time tracking on BNB x402scan. This figure demonstrates that AI agent payments are accumulating as on-chain records beyond experimental announcements. Discussions are ongoing within the BNB Chain ecosystem regarding the need for identity, wallets, payments, and execution environments for AI agents to operate on-chain. However, the publicly available data did not present a breakdown by payment entity, payment assets, or services used.
