Canary CEO: Bitcoin Expected to Reach $150,000 This Year, Ethereum's Ability to Sustain Its Growth Trajectory Remains Uncertain
BlockBeats News, August 17th, according to Decrypt, Canary Capital CEO Steven McClurg stated that Bitcoin may rise to $150,000 by the end of this year, but will face a new bear market in 2026. At the same time, he is skeptical about whether Ethereum's recent rise can be sustained.
This Bitcoin prediction comes as the cryptocurrency market nears its all-time high and institutional investors flood into Bitcoin ETFs.
He attributes this current rise to ETF demand growth and the expansion of the institutional buyer base, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and corporate treasuries.
