Dollar Bonds and ADRs Fall on Wall Street

Dollar bonds are mostly down on Wall Street this Friday, as are ADRs and Argentine stocks on the New York Stock Exchange. This occurs at the close of an August with negative returns for local fixed and variable income. Global sovereign bonds drop by up to 0.2%, while Bonares show mixed performance. The country risk rises by one basis point to 510 units, accumulating an 18.6% increase in August according to J.P. Morgan's indicator. ADRs and Argentine stocks are trading without a defined trend, with most showing declines; Globant leads the gains with 1.8%, while BBVA Argentina and Edenor lead the declines with 2.1% and 2%, respectively. In the local market, the S&P Merval index falls by 0.4% to 2,989,528 points, decreasing by 0.5% in dollars and accumulating a drop of 10.7% in August.
