Edelman Financial Engines reported a 34 million dollar bitcoin ETF stake in a 13F filing for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This stake, divided between Blackrock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), surpasses Edelman's 25 million dollar holding in Amazon. The bitcoin allocation represents approximately 0.012% of Edelman's total portfolio. Other firms also filed bitcoin ETF disclosures, including JPMorgan, which increased its IBIT stake to about 356 million dollars, and UBS, which quadrupled its position to nearly 90 million dollars. Banco Santander reported its first bitcoin ETF disclosure with 129,615 IBIT shares valued at 4.31 million dollars. By mid-2026, 563 registered investment advisors collectively reported 3.5 billion dollars in bitcoin ETF holdings. The next disclosure window opens in mid-November, following the third quarter.
