ETF Store President Says AI Trading Robots Impact Active Fund Managers More Than Retail Investors
Nate Geraci, president of ETF Store, stated that AI agents trading stocks and options could negatively affect retail investor performance, but the proliferation of AI trading robots poses an even greater challenge to active fund managers. Geraci believes that AI has improved the efficiency of financial markets, narrowing the information gap between retail investors and professional institutions. In the context of the commodification of financial and market information, even if fund managers use AI, their traditional informational advantages may diminish.
