Ultra-high-net-worth family offices from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East have cumulatively established a stake of approximately $3.8 billion in SpaceX. The largest single holding comes from the family office of Hyatt Hotels heir Nick Pritzker, which held a position in SpaceX valued at around $1.8 billion as of the end of June, with the investment made just weeks after SpaceX went public. Two major trends are currently emerging: first, family offices are reallocating funds from traditional investments to actively invest in long-term themes such as rockets, satellites, and AI infrastructure; second, SpaceX's capital structure in the secondary market is shifting from its original PE/VC holders to a broader base of ultra-high-net-worth and institutional investors. The large-scale accumulation by family offices provides new buying support for the market.
