In September 2026, there were a total of 61 publicly disclosed financing projects in the crypto sector, a decrease of 1.6% month-on-month and a decrease of 35.1% year-on-year; the total financing amount was approximately $1.269 billion, an increase of 71.1% month-on-month but a decrease of 79.2% year-on-year.
The disclosed financing and strategic investments in the crypto sector this period were still primarily focused on financial services-related projects, covering areas such as perpetual contract trading, institutional trading, stablecoin payments, prediction markets, corporate finance, and DePIN.
According to incomplete statistics from PANews, there were 10 financing events in the global blockchain industry last week (September 28 - October 4), with a total funding scale exceeding $159 million. The main financing events are as follows:
- PERPTools disclosed a total of $8 million in two rounds of financing;
- Fintech company Jeeves completed a $110 million Series C financing, led by CoinFund, with participation from a16z, Coinbase Ventures, and others;
- Crypto enterprise banking platform Limited completed a $18.5 million seed round financing, with participation from DCG and others;
- Raven received strategic financing from Coinbase Ventures and CMCC Global, with a valuation of $90 million.
In terms of AI financing, capital continues to concentrate on models and infrastructure. SoftBank completed a $10 billion investment in OpenAI, and AI infrastructure company Helix Digital Infrastructure received a $1 billion investment from Samsung Group. The AI-native cloud platform GMI Cloud completed $668 million in financing.
Additionally, in the first half of 2026, there were 1,255 AI-related financing events in China, totaling approximately 250.14 billion yuan, reaching 78.0% and 182.0% of the total for 2025, respectively.

PERPTools disclosed a total of $8 million in two rounds of financing, planning TGE in Q4.
The AI perpetual trading platform PERPTools, developed by DEXTools, has raised a total of $8 million through two rounds of token financing, including $3 million in a pre-seed round and $5 million in a seed round. Investors include BigBrain Holdings, NEAR, Animoca Brands, Sfermion, and Shima Capital. The platform plans to conduct TGE in Q4 2026.
Hyperliquid broker HyperLink completes $2.5 million financing, with participation from Alliance and others.
The main brokerage agreement HyperLink of the decentralized trading platform Hyperliquid announced the completion of $2.5 million financing, with participation from Alliance, North Island Ventures, Reverie, Node Capital, Breed, and smartestmoney.hl.
HyperLink aims to provide users with low fees, private trading flows, and optimal execution paths by aggregating trading volume and unlocking VIP rates. Data shows that last month, the platform's routed trading volume reached $254 million, accounting for 0.1% of Hyperliquid's total trading volume. Currently, the agreement is in an invitation-only phase and has accounted for 1% of Hyperliquid builder trading volume.
Stablecoin Payments
Fintech company Jeeves completes $110 million Series C financing.
Miami-based fintech company Jeeves completed a $110 million Series C financing, led by CoinFund, with participation from a16z, Coinbase Ventures, AllianceBernstein, and others. The funds will be used for stablecoin wallet infrastructure construction, AI Agent automation, and expanding instant payment services to over 25 countries. Currently, about 50% to 60% of the company's international payments are settled through stablecoins such as USDC and EURC.
Payment infrastructure Walapay completes $4.6 million seed round financing.
Payment infrastructure Walapay announced the completion of $4.6 million in seed round financing, led by Gen Venture Capital, with participation from Commerce Ventures, Polygon, AAF Management, Verda Ventures, NGC Ventures, FGV Capital, JSquare, Reflexive, and Big Brain VC. Walapay stated that the funds will be used to acquire more licenses, expand banking partnerships, and grow the team.
Prediction Markets
Raven receives strategic financing from Coinbase Ventures and CMCC Global, with a valuation of $90 million.
Raven completed a round of strategic financing involving Coinbase Ventures and CMCC Global, with a pre-financing valuation of $90 million. Founded in 2023, Raven initially operated as a crypto high-frequency market maker and expanded into prediction markets in Q2 2025, providing institutional market-making services for platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket, as well as other non-U.S. compliant or on-chain platforms. Raven has provided liquidity for over 3,000 contracts, covering categories such as sports, cryptocurrencies, macroeconomics, and entertainment. Charlie Morris, co-founder of CMCC, will join the Raven board to assist in expanding its institutional client base. The specific amount of financing has not been disclosed.

Crypto enterprise banking platform Limited announced the completion of $18.5 million in seed round financing, led by Third Prime, North Island Ventures (NIV), The House Fund, and Collab+Currency, with participation from ParaFi Capital, Pharsalus Capital, Digital Currency Group (DCG), 1982 Ventures, and Onigiri Capital.
It is reported that Limited is a global financial platform aimed at multinational enterprises, integrating local business accounts, Visa cards, payment, treasury and expense management, and crypto infrastructure. Enterprises can receive and make payments through local channels such as ACH, SEPA, Pix, and SWIFT, and it also supports the receipt and payment of crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, and USDC.
Brazilian fintech company NG.CASH completes $15 million strategic financing, led by Blockchain Capital.
Brazilian fintech company NG.CASH completed $15 million in strategic financing, led by Blockchain Capital. Since its establishment in 2021, the company has raised over $65 million in total financing. NG.CASH holds two licenses issued by the Central Bank of Brazil for direct credit companies and payment institutions and is applying for a virtual asset service provider license. Since its establishment in 2021, NG.CASH has exceeded 10 million accounts, with transaction volumes reaching billions of dollars.

The U.S. Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced a strategic partnership with iCapital to jointly advance private market infrastructure, while also making a strategic investment in iCapital. The two parties will integrate DTCC's market infrastructure, processing capabilities, and network with iCapital's technology platform and investment workflow, connecting data, operations, and market participants in the private investment lifecycle to reduce operational friction. As an initial area of collaboration, the two parties plan to further integrate DTCC's Alternative Investment Products (AIP) with iCapital's alternative investment platform and explore the application of technologies such as blockchain DLT and tokenization in private markets. Talia Klein, head of DTCC Wealth and Investment Solutions, will join the iCapital board as an observer.
DePIN
Multicoin Capital announces investment in DePIN project Grass.
Shayon Sengupta, general partner at Multicoin Capital, announced that the hedge fund and venture capital fund have invested in the DePIN project Grass. Grass recruits global contributors to share idle bandwidth through crypto incentive mechanisms, building a decentralized network to provide pre-training data for AI frontier laboratories. Over the past 18 months, it has served multiple laboratories, achieving revenues of $17 million in 2025 and the first half of 2026, and expects revenues from training data business to reach $75 million for the entire year, with the business already profitable. Over 6 million contributors have received dollar-denominated rewards.

Social finance platform KIVO receives $5 million early financing from BitBT Ventures.
BitBT Ventures announced on the X platform that it has provided $5 million in early financing to the social finance platform KIVO. KIVO is building a social finance ecosystem that connects social, trading, payment, digital assets, and emerging financial products through a single consumer-grade application.

U.S. AI infrastructure company Helix Digital Infrastructure announced it has received a $1 billion investment from Samsung Group, with participation from Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDS, and Samsung SDI. Helix was established in June this year by KKR in collaboration with the Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and U.S. power producer Vistra, and is operated by former Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky, covering areas such as semiconductors, data centers, cloud computing, and finance. This investment will further position Samsung Group in the AI infrastructure market.

AI-native cloud platform GMI Cloud announced the completion of $668 million in financing, including $223 million in Series B equity financing and $445 million in credit financing, led by investment firm ARCHIV, with participation from NVIDIA. The company claims that its inference platform processes approximately 40 trillion tokens weekly, with clients including Fireworks, Nous Research, OpenRouter, and Trend Micro.
AI Applications & Agents
AI assistant startup Instinct completes $1 billion Series C financing, with a valuation of $10 billion.
AI assistant startup Instinct completed $1 billion in Series C financing, with investors including Sequoia Capital, Benchmark Capital, and Coatue, achieving a valuation of $10 billion. This comes just a month after the company announced it had completed financing at a valuation of $2.5 billion.
Instinct is a new type of consumer-grade AI agent that can not only answer questions and engage in conversation but also perform actual tasks for users, such as booking travel and restaurants, shopping, paying bills, canceling subscriptions, conducting research, and ordering groceries. Instinct communicates with users via text messages and currently does not have a mobile application or disclosed user data or growth metrics.
AI agent security company Reco secures another $55 million in financing, totaling $140 million.
AI agent security company Reco announced it has secured $55 million in financing, with participation from AT&T's investment division, Forestay, and Quadrille Capital. Including the $30 million Series B financing completed in February this year, Reco's total financing has reached $140 million.
Reco's platform utilizes "contextual graphs" to link enterprise AI agents, applications, accounts, and permissions, helping security teams discover unauthorized agents and restrict their data access. The company claims to currently have over 100 clients and can integrate with over 280 applications; its annual recurring revenue is at the tens of millions level, with financial services clients accounting for about 40% of its business. This round of funding will be used for hiring, sales, partnerships, and customer support.
Physical AI
Physical AI chip company SiMa.ai completes $150 million Series C financing, with a valuation of $1.45 billion.
Physical AI chip company SiMa.ai announced the completion of $150 million in Series C financing, led jointly by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, Point72, and StepStone Group. The company has raised a total of $500 million, with a valuation rising to $1.45 billion. SiMa.ai stated that the funds will be used to scale its physical AI platform Palette Neat and develop the next generation of dedicated physical AI chips, which are planned to be launched in the first half of 2028, with a maximum computing power of 1000 TOPS.

DIG Ventures completes $120 million fundraising for its third fund, focusing on Pre-seed and seed stage AI infrastructure.
Venture capital firm DIG Ventures announced that its third fund has completed fundraising of $120 million. Investors include Horsley Bridge, Sofina, Granite, and a top U.S. university endowment fund.
The fund will focus on AI-native enterprise software and cloud infrastructure startups at the Pre-seed and seed stages, with a focus on infrastructure areas supporting AI-native software development, such as data, identity verification, compliance, and orchestration. The fund plans to take a leading role in most investment rounds, and funds have already begun to be deployed.
