Ignas: Trading Meme Coins Requires Synchronization with Market Rhythm
DeFi researcher Ignas stated on the X platform that successful cryptocurrency traders need to stay in sync with the market rhythm, patiently waiting for trading opportunities they truly understand, rather than chasing prices up and down. He pointed out that panic selling after chasing highs due to pullbacks can lead to capital losses, and the urge to recoup losses may result in chasing the next hot trend, creating a vicious cycle. Ignas emphasized that traders should understand the current market dynamics before trading, for instance, that Meme coins and tokenized assets are forming new trading logic. He believes that Meme coins could drive the growth of on-chain TVL for tokenized stocks and suggests focusing on tokens that can earn transaction fees and evaluating the proportion of revenue flowing to holders and the valuation levels. Ignas also mentioned that each trade should have a clear reason beyond "price increase" or "it has already dropped a lot"; if the position is too large, leading to doubts about the original logic with every decline, it becomes difficult to hold long enough to wait for the logic to materialize. Therefore, he advises reducing positions appropriately and maintaining patience.
