On August 25, the U.S. Secret Service confirmed that it had noticed a video broadcast by Iranian state media that allegedly threatened the life of Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Trump. Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring stated that the agency is aware of the video and will investigate any potential threats against protected individuals, but will not disclose specific protective intelligence for security reasons. Reports indicate that following the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the outbreak of war in Iran, Iranian media has repeatedly disseminated threatening content directed at Trump and his family. CNN has also reported that the Secret Service is aware of threats related to Barron Trump.
