President Javier Milei sent a message to the markets to avoid turbulence with the dollar's price. He stated that they have secured financing until the end of his term, although he cannot determine the future value of the foreign currency. Milei emphasized that they have the resources to face a currency run before the presidential elections in October 2027. In radio statements, he assured: "What I am doing is ensuring that if they come to push us, we have what to confront them with. Furthermore, we have secured financing until the end of the term." He also mentioned that it is not necessary to seek those dollars in the market. In an interview on Radio Mitre, Milei maintained that his government will not default and listed various sources of financing, such as agricultural harvests and swaps with the United States and China.
