Kyiv Region Develops Plan for Disposal of Products After Shelling
The authorities of the Kyiv region are developing a plan for the collection, removal, and disposal of products damaged as a result of Russian shelling, including organic waste from destroyed warehouses. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported significant volumes of damaged products that need to be quickly removed. The plan includes surveying the sites, identifying the types of waste, their safe collection and sorting, removal, as well as processing or burial. A working group will be created from representatives of enterprises, regional administration, and responsible services to coordinate actions. The algorithm for handling organic waste will be presented at a meeting of the Regional Defense Council. The damage from Russia's attacks on Ukraine's warehouse infrastructure is estimated in the tens of billions of hryvnias, with Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions particularly affected.
