Ledger Strengthens Dealer Device Management, Returned Devices Must Not Be Resold
Ledger is strengthening its device management for authorized dealers, reiterating that returned devices must not be resold in any form, even if they appear brand new and unopened. Additionally, new measures are required immediately: Ledger products must not be placed on shelves or display racks, and inventory must be stored in warehouses and delivered upon purchase. Ledger states that its chips, operating systems, and servers are all defect-free, and the system has not been compromised; the issues occur after the devices leave their control, targeting the distribution channels.
