The latest figures from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission cover CME standard and micro Bitcoin futures, along with Coinbase Derivatives' nano Bitcoin and perpetual futures. However, longs in CME micro futures and both Coinbase products fell, offsetting the increase. Asset managers' net long across all products rose by 2137.90 BTC-equivalent to 18069.10, with longs increasing by 573.10 BTC-equivalent and shorts decreasing by 1564.80 BTC-equivalent. Combined open interest across these markets dropped by 13.31% to 103343.14 BTC-equivalent from 119208.26. The next report is scheduled for Oct. 9, which may indicate if the current trends continue.
