Ministry of Defense Approves 413 New Drones for Use

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has approved 413 new unmanned aerial systems for use in the Defense Forces since the beginning of 2026, marking a record high. The number of certified drones has increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2025 and by 73% compared to 2024. Among the new systems, there is a predominance of strike drones of the quadcopter type, as well as fiber-optic drones and front-strike drones. New models include Bababoom, "Optoslon", "Kharek", and "White Wolf."
