Natasha Ward, 21-Year-Old Athlete, Passes Away

The athlete Natasha Ward passed away suddenly at the age of 21. She was a promising talent in Australian sports and a notable middle-distance runner. The news was announced by Athletics New South Wales (NSW) and the Sutherland District Athletics Club, who requested respect for the family's privacy. In her youth, Ward won a medal at the New South Wales School Championships in the 1500 meters event. In her senior career, she achieved medals at the UniSport National Championships in the 1500 meters in 2023 and earned a bronze medal at the UniSport National Championships in the 800 meters in April of this year. Additionally, she was a student of Exercise and Sport Science at Macquarie University in Sydney and worked at a sports store.
