In Ternopil, projects for the thermal modernization of four kindergartens and the commissioning of 17 new trolleybuses have been completed. The modernization of kindergartens was carried out within the framework of the Ukraine Municipal Infrastructure Development Program (UMIP) with a budget of 400 million euros. The work included facade insulation, replacement of windows and doors, modernization of heating and ventilation systems, installation of energy-efficient lighting, and the creation of accessibility elements. Conditions have improved for more than 1,100 children and 250 staff members, which will allow for a 20% reduction in energy consumption. The purchase of new trolleybuses was carried out as part of the Ukraine Urban Public Transport Project II (UPUPTP II) with a budget of 200 million euros. The new low-floor trolleybuses produced by the Lviv plant "Electron" are equipped with air conditioning systems, information displays, GPS navigation, video surveillance, and ramps for passengers with reduced mobility. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the EIB has provided Ukraine with 4.5 billion euros to support and restore infrastructure.
