A total of 951 thousand tons of grain cargo was transported by rail during this period, which is 42.4% less than in the same period of July and 57% lower than last year. The exported grain was distributed as follows: 343 thousand tons towards western border crossings, 56 thousand tons to the ports of Greater Odesa, 56 thousand tons to the port of Izmail, and 6 thousand tons to the port of Reni.
