US International Trade Commission Investigates Micron and Several Server Manufacturers' Storage Products
Prefer us on GoogleThe U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has decided to investigate dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) produced by Micron Technology and several server manufacturers that use these chips. This investigation is based on a complaint filed by Netlist, a memory supplier based in Irvine, California, alleging that the companies violated U.S. federal tariff laws by importing and selling certain DRAM devices and products containing these devices in the United States, infringing on the company's patent rights. The USITC will also investigate server manufacturers including HPE, Supermicro, and Lenovo.
