据悉，洛厄尔曾代理过的客户包括纽约总检察长莱蒂西亚·詹姆斯（Letitia James）、亨特·拜登（Hunter Biden）、贾里德·库什纳（Jared Kushner）、伊万卡·特朗普（Ivanka Trump）以及其他多位高知名度政治人物——无论是共和党还是民主党人。
对洛厄尔而言，对抗一届总统政府试图控制联邦监管机构的行为并不新鲜——他已在华盛顿法律界深耕数十年。洛厄尔上月在接受 MSNBC 采访时表示，「我基本上挑战过自罗纳德·里根（Ronald Reagan）以来每一届政府中联邦机构的权力越界，无论是民主党还是共和党政府都不重要。如果政府越权，律师的职责就是将其拉回正轨。」（金十）
