$40.41 Million Remains Withdrawable on Blast Bridge
Blast reached the deadline for its regular withdrawal interface today, with approximately $40.41 million in assets still available for withdrawal on its Ethereum mainnet official cross-chain bridge, a decrease of about 36% from approximately $63.5 million on October 2. Blast announced on October 2 that it would gradually shut down the Layer 2 network due to operational costs exceeding revenue and a lack of a credible path to achieve economic sustainability. Blast stated that after October 26, users can still withdraw assets but must interact directly with the bridging contract on Ethereum, as the regular website interface will no longer be available. At the time of the report, the Blast official website still displayed withdrawal entry and notifications about the gradual shutdown of the network. Blast has released contract-level withdrawal guidelines for ETH, USDB, and BLAST, which include initiating withdrawals on the Blast network, waiting for the transaction status record to be submitted to Ethereum, submitting withdrawal proof through the OptimismPortal contract, and executing the final confirmation transaction after a one-day challenge period.
