Chainlink co-founder predicts AI will favor tokenized assets

AI agents will prioritize tokenized assets over traditional assets, according to Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov at SIBOS 2026 in Miami. Nazarov stated that a future is approaching where AI will make purchasing decisions for tokenized assets, diminishing the role of human intervention in asset buying. He emphasized that AI seeks the fastest and most efficient solutions, leading agents to favor tokenized assets. Additionally, he noted that as AI agents take on more responsibilities, there will be a need for infrastructure to support tasks related to tokenized assets, with Chainlink's infrastructure playing a crucial role in bridging traditional industries, AI, and the tokenized asset ecosystem.
