Dogecoin Drops 3.44% in July, Future Uncertain
Dogecoin fell by 3.44% in July, marking the third consecutive month of losses. Over the past ten months, it has lost value nine times. Since October 2025, DOGE has only recorded a rebound once, in April. Historical data suggests that August could be equally challenging, as Dogecoin has ended this month in the red seven times since 2014, with five of those losses being double-digit. The largest drop occurred in 2014 when the value of the memecoin fell by 37.4%. On average, DOGE loses 0.43% in August, indicating that breaking the negative trend will be difficult. Since the beginning of the year, Dogecoin has lost over 40% of its value, and it is approximately 90% lower than its peak (0.73 USD). There is a lack of convincing catalysts to attract new investors, and DOGE does not align with current market trends related to AI or utility tokens.
