DSA White Paper Wins at 2026 DC Fintech Week
The Digital Sovereignty Alliance (DSA) announced its white paper, "Modern Foundations of Personal Finance: Literacy and Infrastructure in the Digital Economy," has been named one of five winning papers in DC Fintech Week's 2026 Call for Papers. The paper, authored by DSA Senior Policy Advisor Molly Woodman with contributions from Adrian Wall, Emily Ekshian, and Maghan Lusk, addresses the gap between the rapid shift to digital financial systems and Americans' financial literacy, particularly in understanding risk. Selected from numerous submissions, the winning papers will be featured on the DC Fintech Week website and during the event from October 13-16 in Washington, D.C. Woodman emphasized the need for financial literacy to be prioritized alongside regulation, as many individuals struggle to understand both traditional and digital finance. DSA continues to advocate for policies that support ethical innovation in emerging technologies.
