Global Market Fluctuations in the Last 24 Hours

By: ramzarz.news|10/06/2026 07:01:21

In the last 24 hours, global markets have fluctuated due to reduced expectations for an interest rate hike in the U.S. and selling pressure on bonds. Weaker employment data has lowered the likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate increase in October, but traders assess the chance of a hike in December at around 87%. The yield on ten-year bonds reached 5.35%, the highest level in 24 years, and the strengthening dollar has maintained pressure on riskier assets. In the energy market, Brent crude rose by 0.30% to $100.59. Attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz have kept transportation and insurance costs high, but the recovery of Gulf exports and the release of 100 million barrels from emergency reserves have alleviated supply concerns. The global gold ounce decreased by 0.30% under the influence of a stronger dollar and rising bond yields, trading around $4,127.87. Despite interest rate pressures, tensions in the Middle East support demand for safe assets. In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin fell by 0.22% to around $85,571 after failing to break through the $87,000 resistance. Its market value is close to $1.7 trillion, with a daily trading volume of about $26.4 billion. Currently, U.S. bond yields, developments in the Strait of Hormuz, and Bitcoin's ability to stabilize above $87,000 are the main factors influencing the short-term market direction.
