Henrik Zeberg Warns of the End of the Bull Cycle and Possible Economic Collapse
The macroeconomic analyst Henrik Zeberg predicts the closure of the current financial market cycle, noting that the decline in bond yields and the DXY indicates the final phase of the stock market bull run. Zeberg anticipates that investors will benefit from the decrease in public debt yields and the weakening of the dollar, which will lead to a capital movement towards the stock market, boosting speculative assets such as small caps and cryptocurrencies. This phenomenon could last between one and three months, although Zeberg clarifies that this is not the beginning of a new bull market, but rather the beginning of the end. Additionally, he compares the current situation to the period before the 1929 collapse, pointing out that three factors are needed to replicate that level of risk: a technology bubble financed with debt, a weak real economy, and a central bank raising rates at the market peak. Zeberg also highlights that the development of artificial intelligence represents a significant speculative boom, which could lead to a financial collapse before profitability is achieved.
