JD.com Announces AI Infrastructure Progress, Plans for 100,000 Card Cluster

On September 9, at the 2026 JD Global Technology Explorers Conference, Cao Peng, Chairman of the Technology Committee of JD Group and President of JD Cloud, announced the latest progress of JD.com in three major AI infrastructures: computing power, data, and models. In terms of computing power, JD Cloud has collaborated with partners such as Moore Threads to create a domestically produced 10,000-card cluster and plans to build a 100,000-card cluster. Regarding data, JD Cloud's initiative to collect the largest scale of human data, totaling 10 million hours, is progressing smoothly. In terms of models, JD has established a JoyAI foundational model matrix covering multimodal models, world models, and embodied models, and has released a real-time interactive world model, JoyAI-Echo WM.
