Jensen Huang Claims CoreWeave's Financial Situation is Improving, No Need for NVIDIA's Guarantee
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the financial situation of data center operator CoreWeave is improving, and NVIDIA, as its supplier of computing equipment, believes there is no need to provide financial guarantees for CoreWeave. He pointed out at an event in Stockholm that CoreWeave's strength is increasing daily, and its capital costs are decreasing. Previously, confidence in CoreWeave within the credit market had deteriorated, raising concerns about its default risk, and Huang is attempting to restore market confidence in the company. CoreWeave serves as an important case for testing the sustainability of the business models of emerging artificial intelligence infrastructure companies, which aim to meet the nearly limitless demand for AI computing power described by companies like NVIDIA. Companies like CoreWeave have taken on significant debt with the support of suppliers, including NVIDIA, raising concerns in the market about the potential for circular financing to create false demand.
