JPMorgan Leads $4.25 Billion Acquisition Financing, Jefferies Participates
Several banks are participating in a $4.25 billion debt financing to support Curium's acquisition of radioactive drug company Lantheus Holdings. The financing is set to be syndicated to investors next year. JPMorgan, as one of Curium's financial advisors, is leading the arrangement of this financing, with Jefferies Financial Group also involved. Several other lending institutions are negotiating to join the financing, which is expected to form a larger banking syndicate. Banks are vying for leveraged buyout financing business, as such transactions typically generate some of the highest fee revenues in investment banking.
