Morgan Stanley Establishes Digital Asset Lab to Test Stablecoins and DeFi Technologies
Morgan Stanley has established a digital asset lab to test technologies such as stablecoins, tokenization, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. The bank is exploring the application of blockchain-based systems across its various businesses. Megan Brewer, head of market innovation and the lab at Morgan Stanley, stated that the initiative is part of the company's existing network of innovation labs, aimed at providing dedicated facilities for employees to explore emerging technologies while avoiding risks to the bank's core systems.
