Robert Kiyosaki Considers Bitcoin and Gold as Financial Insurance

By: mihanblockchain.com|10/04/2026 11:30:00

Robert Kiyosaki likened owning Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), silver, and gold to having insurance against financial troubles. He stated that preparing for monetary instability does not mean predicting disaster and criticized fiat currencies. In his latest post on the social media platform X, Kiyosaki referred to himself as a "financial prepper" and argued that holding gold, silver, and Bitcoin is akin to buying insurance. He asked a woman if she owned gold, silver, or Bitcoin, emphasizing that he only wants money that the government cannot print. His concerns include the decline in purchasing power due to inflation and monetary expansion. Kiyosaki believes that holding scarce assets outside of government currencies provides protection against these risks. He has also continued to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum during market downturns and recently stated that instead of resorting to cash, he is accumulating these assets. His recent comments are less "apocalyptic" than previous warnings, but his strategy regarding the ownership of Bitcoin, gold, and silver has not changed.
