Stand With Crypto Announces First Round of Senate Candidate Endorsements
The crypto advocacy organization Stand With Crypto has announced its first round of Senate candidate endorsements, supporting Republican Senator Jon Husted of Ohio, as well as Ashley Hinson of Iowa and Chris Pappas of New Hampshire. The endorsements come after the Senate failed to pass the Clarity for Digital Assets Act on September 15, which aims to establish a federal regulatory framework for the crypto industry. Senate Democrats stated they could not support a bill that would benefit President Trump. Mason Lynaugh, Executive Director of Stand With Crypto, stated that the organization, which has over 3 million advocates, will fully support crypto candidates. Additionally, Stand With Crypto will increase advertising spending in six House races to support Democratic Congressman Don Davis and Republican Congressman Bryan Steil, as well as candidates like Congressman Shomari Figures and Mariannette Miller-Meeks who voted in favor of the Clarity Act.
