1 Crypto Highlights
1)Bitcoin Briefly Breaks Below $80,000 and Rebounds to $82,000–$83,000
Bitcoin briefly broke below $80,000 and then rebounded, last trading near $82,000–$83,000. September PPI’s 6.3% year-on-year rise, a more-than-four-year high, briefly hardened hike expectations and weighed on risk assets. After the market digested the print, buyers returned and majors repaired with equities. Near term, watch resistance above $83,000 and whether rate pricing heats up again.

2)PYTH Rises More Than 10% in 24 Hours as Buyback Rule Continues to Support
Pyth Network (PYTH) rose more than 10% over 24 hours. The DAO previously passed a rule that uses all product revenue for monthly PYTH buybacks. Stacked on third-quarter revenue growth and AI-related partnerships, the token drew independent bids amid swings in majors. The buyback narrative continues to attract capital, but a short-term give-back after the move still needs watching.

3)L2 Tokens Rise Broadly; PUFFER, STRK, ARB and ZK Lead
Layer 2 tokens rose broadly, with PUFFER, Starknet (STRK), Arbitrum (ARB) and ZK among the leaders. Scaling narratives and a rebound in ecosystem activity supported the valuation repair, and some tokens also benefited from flows returning after unlock expectations were digested. If majors come under pressure again, high-beta L2 tokens can retrace faster.

Spot: PUFFER / STRK / ARB / ZK
Futures: STRK / ARB / ZK
4)WEEX Adds VRAX; Token Rises More Than 8% in 24 Hours
VRAX takes inspiration from a Robinhood official post that Commander Vrax had turned into a cat, using an exaggerated cat image as its mark and building a playful link with the Robinhood community. The token was first launched amid related discussion during a summit, and management later mentioned it twice in an X Q&A. After WEEX added support, it rose more than 8% over 24 hours as community sentiment and listing liquidity lifted the price.

2 Stock Highlights
1)Markets Digest Four-Year-High PPI Quickly; Three Indexes Close Higher
September PPI rose 6.3% year on year, the highest in more than four years. The print briefly hardened hike expectations and equities and crypto dipped. The market digested the headwind quickly, risk assets rebounded from the sell-off, and the three major indexes closed higher. Inflation stickiness remains, but near-term sentiment repair took priority over further tightening pricing. The next checkpoint is October 16 industrial production and import-export prices for the rate path.

Spot: SPY / QQQ / IWM
Futures: SPY / QQQ / IWM
2)CoreWeave (CRWV) Reverses and Closes Higher After Bond Pressure
CoreWeave’s unsecured bond due 2032 fell below 80% of par, with a secondary-market yield above 15%, reflecting rising financing-pressure concerns. On default rumors, the stock fell more than 8% intraday and then reversed to close up 5.94%. Related management said the company’s position continues to improve and financing costs are falling. Markets are weighing debt costs against AI-cloud demand.

Near term, the group is still tied to swings in majors and rate pricing.

Spot: CRCL / COIN / MSTR
Futures: CRCL / COIN / MSTR
4)Quantinuum (QNT) Surges More Than 11%
Quantinuum (QNT) jumped more than 11%. As a quantum-computing name, it saw inflows during the broader risk-asset rebound and technology-sector recovery. Market focus remains on whether commercialization progress and partnerships can support further valuation repair, though near-term fluctuations will stay tied to rate pricing and sector sentiment.

Spot: QNT
Futures: QNT
5)TSMC (TSM) Swings on Pre-Market Results

Apple’s first foldable phone, iPhone Duo (DUOK), opened for global pre-order on October 16.
