XRPL Batch V1.1 Update Expected to Launch on October 9, 2026
The Batch V1.1 update for the XRP Ledger mainnet is planned to be implemented on October 9, 2026. This update is being prepared as a replacement regulation that includes the corrected Batch application from xrpld version 3.3.0. According to XRPScan data, the activation counter for Batch has been reset, and the timeline has been postponed. The regulation was previously expected to go live on September 29, 2026. For regulations to take effect on the XRPL, more than 80% of trusted validators must maintain their support for two weeks. The change in the process was due to a minor issue detected in the fix of xrpld version 3.4.1. The XRP community has aimed to launch the Batch feature simultaneously with its correction update. Batch allows multiple XRPL transactions from various accounts to be executed atomically in a single ledger close. This feature is particularly prominent for multi-party financial reconciliations. Additionally, the permission delegation regulation is also expected to go live on the mainnet on October 8, 2026. JA Akinyele, the executive responsible for RippleX engineering, explained the innovations made to support a new wave for developers and institutions on the XRP Ledger. The XRPL architecture is being updated to respond to complex financial transactions.
