500 BTC Missing in Ireland Transferred to Coinbase Prime
A Bitcoin wallet linked to drug trafficker Clifton Collins in Ireland has moved again after 10 years. According to blockchain data, 500 BTC was sent to Coinbase Prime, with a current value estimated at $41.52 million. Lookonchain reported that this transfer was made from wallets associated with Collins. Years ago, Collins had accumulated 6,000 BTC, but these assets were considered lost due to him losing the private keys. Collins had divided his Bitcoins into 12 separate wallets. Irish authorities, with the support of Europol, reached the lost wallets throughout 2026. In March, a wallet containing 500 BTC was seized, followed by other transfers of 500 BTC in May and July. On August 28, another 500 BTC valued at approximately $39.56 million was transferred to Coinbase Prime. With the last transaction on October 20, the fifth transfer of 500 BTC from Collins-linked wallets this year has occurred.
